This morning, Tom Brokaw announced on Meet the Press that David Gregory will be the new moderator of Meet the Press. What do we think about this choice? I like David, but I think that Tim Russert would have been rooting for Chuck Todd. Check out the new poll to weigh-in on this one.

I must agree, I'm not too excited about DG. I like that he's kind of a smart ass (and what a dancer), but he's a sorry replacement for Big Tim. I see Chuck Todd is leading in your FF poll, however, I am am not a fan of Todd. He's a smart guy, but I refuse to be informed on politics form a guy with such ridiculous facial hair. Shave it, Chuck.
As much I love Rachel -- it's like having a crush on Olbermann without all the weird sexual baggage (well, some of the weird sexual baggage), I would hate to see her saddled with an institution like MTP where she'd have to dial down the liberal rage and snarkiness. I like Rach right where she is.
The problem is there's no one at (MS)NBC who can fill Russert's shoes. He was part of a dying breed. Best of luck to Dave, though.
